GA Engineers, Inc., provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy consulting engineering services for a wide range of commercial, industrial and institutional applications. Specializing in mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical engineering services, our firm also provides feasibility studies, systems analyses, design, contract documents, cost estimating, bidding assistance and construction administration for both new construction and renovation projects.

Founded in 1981 by O. Michael Green, the firm was formerly O. Michael Green Engineering, Inc., until August of 1993. At that time Greg Anderson became a principal shareholder in the firm which then created Green Anderson Engineers, Inc. After many years of hard work and dedication, Mike decided to retire his position in the Company and therefore Greg assumed the role of President in 2004. We recently changed the company name to GA Engineers, Inc. Our firm has experienced solid growth over the past several years and looks forward to serving our clients and community with superior professional services in the future.

FACILITIES:

GA Engineers’ office is located on Green Acres Road in Fayetteville. This facility, along with state of the art computer aided design and drafting software with advanced work stations, allows efficient completion of both large and small projects. The latest in industry technology allows access to the most current design information as well as efficient communication with all of our clients and other working partners.

The goal at GA Engineers, Inc., is to provide the best quality engineering services, meet all timelines, and stay within the client’s budget.

To accomplish these goals we believe we will provide every client with systems that are the type and level of quality they expect, at the best possible price. To ensure superior quality services, one of our principal engineers is involved with every project. With a combined experience level of 75+ years in MEP Consulting, we feel confident each project will be completed with outstanding quality.

Our years of experience have taught us that we have to communicate well with clients to be able to develop the best system. We also have to stay in touch with the local contractors in order to design systems in a cost-effective manner.
An example of our success is that we have been able to provide Rogers and Springdale School Systems with Jr. High and High School facilities that have dual fan—dual duct variable volume HVAC systems. These systems are the best quality with the lowest energy that can be found in public schools in this region of the country, but didn’t cost any more than more traditional HVAC systems.

We feel our staff members and their attention to detail is our greatest asset. We have invested a lot of time to complete specialized studies including short-circuit analysis of power distribution, master planning, facility management, and maintenance contracts.

Greg Anderson, P.E., C.E.M.
President

Greg is a 1979 graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in mechanical engineering. A native of NW Arkansas, he worked for engineering consulting firms in Kansas City and Tulsa before joining the firm in 1986. He became a partner in 1993 and then became President of the Company in 2004. He is an active member of industry associations such as ASHRAE and AEE. Greg is a Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers and has completed various energy saving studies for our clients.

John Rodney Barcenilla, P.E.

J. Rod joined us in May 2006. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Physics and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He brings with him seven years of engineering experience in mechanical and plumbing design. He has been a licensed Professional Engineer for one year and currently oversees and manages our plumbing and fire protection departments.

Bert has been with Green Anderson Engineers since June, 1999. He plays a critical role in our Electrical Department with extensive knowledge in electrical design & construction of commercial power and lighting systems. As an experienced licensed electrician, Bert provides extensive operational support and leadership. Bert lives in Springdale with his wife and three children.
